We woke up this morning to exciting news that our good friends at In Depth Angler have finally released their long awaited bi-annual e-magazine called ‘The Focus Point’! This great new addition to Australian fishing media comes as a collaboration with some of the most innovative and creative up and coming fisho’s in Australia such as;

I must say after reviewing The Focus Point e-magazine this morning, I am extremely impressed with the quality of this awesome piece of fishing journalism. The eye catching photography from the contributors is highlighted perfectly through the magazines well thought out layout design. The design sets a stunning backdrop for the rich text based content, which cover a wide variety of locations, techniques and species. This comes as a refreshing new start for fishing based media in my opinion, with articles covering almost the entirety of the Australian continent in both fresh and saltwater and even diving into International waters which is more than often unseen.
Our very own Aaron Hill has put together a TG yarn about his trip to Hawaii in 2014. While in Hawaii, Aaron had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Chris Wright at Hawaii Bass Fishing on Lake Wilson, Oahu. In his search for the Magnificent Butterfly Peacock Bass (Cichla ocellaris), Hilly was given some valuable lessons by Chris in regards to adapting to new environments, conditions and techniques.
